This pair of boulder opal doublets have amazing flash and the gems look so beautiful set in gold.
I have made a setting for the opals with 22 karat gold around the stones, 10 karat yellow gold behind them, 18 karat yellow gold loops at the top and handmade 18 karat gold earring wires.
These are Australian boulder opal doublets – natural and untreated. Each opal measures approximately 16 mm in length and 7 mm at the widest part.
Total carat weight of 5.5 carats.
