I ship worldwide using USPS First Class and Priority Mail International.  All packages are insured and trackable.

DO YOU SHIP INTERNATIONALLY?

Yes!  I ship Internationally using USPS Priority Mail shipping – insured and trackable.  Customers in the EU please be aware that your country will charge you VAT and postal processing fees – these are your responsibility.  Some other countries (like Canada) charge a postal processing fee as well – please look into these charges OK.

Thanks.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY PACKAGE?

Most of my work is custom made to order in your size.  It can take me up to four weeks before I ship to you but often I am able to get things done sooner.  So, you need to plan in my work time and shipping time.  Shipping is usually pretty fast whether within the U.S. or internationally – usually within ten days.

Jewelry that is ready to ship will be mailed out within 3 -4 days of your order, sooner if possible.

WHAT PAYMENT METHODS ARE ACCEPTED?

I accept Paypal – once you have added things to the cart, you will be directed to the Paypal site.  I never see your payment information.  You do not need a Paypal account to use paypal – you can use any credit card.

ORDERS & RETURNS

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER?

That is as easy as “Add to Cart”, fill in your information, proceed to paypal and pay.  I will confirm all orders by email – as a double check.  If you have any questions or would like something a little different from what you see on the site, please use the contact link and we can talk about things.

HOW CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?

If you need to change your order or cancel, please contact me as soon as possible.  I understand that sometimes things happen and need to be changed/canceled.  The sooner I know the better so that I don’t get started on things.

DO I NEED AN ACCOUNT TO PLACE AN ORDER?

Anyone can order, you don’t need an account.

HOW DO I TRACK MY ORDER?

When your order ships, Paypal will send an email with the tracking information.

HOW CAN I RETURN A PRODUCT?

If you receive an item that is not to your satisfaction for any reason, contact me upon receipt and I will work with you to correct the situation.

I will replace, repair or alter the item as needed. You may also choose to return the item. All exchanges and returns need to be shipped back to me insured within 14 days of receipt. When I receive the item I will refund you for the purchase price.

I want you to be happy with your purchase.

Custom rings made to your size are unique. Please be as sure as possible that you are ordering the correct size.

WHAT ARE RECYCLED METALS & GEMS?

This is So Important to me!  I work with metals that have been reclaimed from old jewelry and other sources.  The metals I work with are Recycled Precious Metals.

Whenever possible the white diamonds I work with are recycled.

Other diamonds that I work with are ethically sourced, non-conflict gemstones, usually from Canada.

Black diamonds and blue diamonds have been heat treated and/or irradiated to bring out the deep color.  White diamonds are natural, untreated gems.

THE OXIDATION – YOU SAY IT WILL WEAR AWAY – WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?

The oxidation (black patina) is only a surface treatment to the metal using a sulfur compound.

It will not last – there is not a way to do this.  The length of time that it lasts depends on how you “use your hands” and whether you take your ring off and on to do things like dishes and gardening.

You have to be OK with the look of your ring changing as it will!

The black patina can be restored by your local jeweler, or you can do it yourself using Liver of Sulfur or hard boiled eggs.  Search engines can tell you a lot about how to do this.

I use Liver of Sulfur Gel.

You will notice changes to your ring the first time you wear it.  Rings scuff up and get dinged with wear.

Here’s info on maintaining the oxidized finish.

RING SIZES

WHAT ABOUT FIGURING OUT THE CORRECT RING SIZE?

Everyone is so different!  I strongly suggest having a professional jeweler determine your ring size for the width of the band you want to purchase.

I do not trust methods where you measure using a string or a piece of paper – it doesn’t take into consideration the thickness of the metal, the width of the ring, your knuckles .. really, please visit some shops and galleries and be professionally sized.

WHAT ABOUT RESIZING?

Rings with flush set stones are Not Easily Re-Sized.  That is why it is so important to get the right size to begin with.  The rings cannot be stretched or compressed like a band without a stone can be.

If it turns out that you order an incorrect size, please contact me.  It is not the end of the world!  You can be professionally sized (best to have the ring with you and ask to be sized for that ring), let me know the correct size, return the ring to me, and I will either adjust the size or make you a new ring for you depending upon the size difference.

MATTE FINISH RINGS

WILL THE MATTE FINISH CHANGE?

Yes, the matte finish will change as well.  It will want to become more shiny.

The matte finish on rings can be maintained by using a Scotchbrite pad in gentle, circular motions – use dry without soap. Do not polish.

The finish on all rings will change – rings take a lot of abuse and it will happen for sure.

Rings will scuff up and ding with wear – it just happens.

To clean diamond rings – Soak in warm water and mild soap – use mild soap and a soft toothbrush if needed.

ENGRAVING

I’m sorry, I don’t do any engraving or marking inside of rings.  My rings are suitable for engraving though and most local jewelers will do this for you.  I don’t put any markings inside the ring to interfere with this.
