Sleeping Beauty Turquoise smooth pear shaped drop cabochon dangle earrings – so pretty!
The gemstones are that amazing color that only Sleeping Beauty can be – these are AAA quality gems.
The gemstones are 10 mm long and at the top they are 3 mm round. So, they are smallish – just a perfect thing I think.
Total carat weight for the turquoise is 3.2 carats.
This Sleeping Beauty turquoise has been enhanced using electrochemical treatments to make the color permanent. The Sleeping Beauty mine, located in Arizona, closed in 2012, making this material valuable and increasingly rare.
The gems dangle from a setting of 18 karat yellow gold with handmade 18k french ear hooks.
