Glowing blue moonstone cabochon earrings – in a handmade setting of 18 karat gold.
I love moonstones and this pair is super pretty. You see the blue flash a lot.
The gems and natural and untreated with a total carat weight of 4.6 carats. Each moonstone measures 8.4 mm x 6.2 mm oval.
The moonstones are very clear and show a few tiny inclusions typical of Ceylon gems.
The setting I made for them is a kind of an “imperfect, funky prong set-up” – they are very cool.
Reclaimed, solid 18 karat yellow gold, handmade ear wires, natural gemstones.
