Kingman Turquoise Drop Earrings in bezel setting of fine and sterling silver.
These have a real “modern artisan feel” – I’ve left tool marks in the metal because it felt right with these gemstones.
The cabochons measure 20.8 mm long and are 9.2 mm at the widest part. Total carat weight is 15.2 carats.
This turquoise is mined, cut, shaped and polished by a woman in Arizona.
The turquoise has been stabilized on the back (almost all turquoise is now). Lovely gems.
The silver has been oxidized and then almost all of the patina removed.
Every piece of turquoise is so different! I see this color as “more soft green with blue”. My photos are all taken in natural light and unedited.
